Fun Facts

Dianne is constantly amazed that she has not yet given up her aspirations of being a professional golfer. She tries to get out on the course 2 to 3 times a month but due to her hectic work schedule almost never makes it to the driving range.  Her interest in golf only started after back surgery in 2011 and she was forced to take 12 months off after wrist surgery in 2015. Today she enjoys getting out on the course at industry events and makes it a point to entertain others with her golf swing but mostly enjoys laughing at herself and her unpredictable golf game.  She is frequently referred to as the Chief Planning Officer and frequently gets other industry professionals and clients together for a fun day on the course.

When she is not on the course, Dianne can be found on the trails running with Ash, her 5 year old Blue Heeler rescue.  Ash was adopted as a way to get Dianne away from her computer and away from long hours of working.  Ash was found abandoned on the streets in Thousand Oaks, California and was rescued as a 3 month old puppy. She is an energetic dog and protects Dianne from just about everyone especially the Amazon delivery guy, the gardeners and the mail man. On their daily walks, Ash accompanies Dianne off leash for 2 to 3 miles and stops on every block and intersection before she gets the go ahead from her mom. Ash’s personality makes her the Chief Guardian Officer.

Dianne is also a foodie with a massive sweet tooth, living up to her Chinese Malaysian cultural roots, Dianne has the cravings to enjoy every variety of cuisine at any time of the day, all the time, 7 days a week.  She enjoys a spectrum of food from the holes in the wall to the nicest downtown Los Angeles eateries. When she travels internationally, she welcomes the opportunity to eat where the locals eat and always ends every meal with a dessert. Some of her favorite desserts are anything red velvet, blueberry pie, butter cookies, green tea ice cream and pound cake. She always said if she wasn’t in the construction industry, she would be an international food critic. Combining both passions for food and for world travel.

Dianne is also a certified diver and received her certification while living in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Having competed in swim meets for almost 8 years while growing up in Malaysia, Dianne has the ability to snorkel for hours, she’s usually the first one to jump into the water and the last one to leave. She enjoys her time under water with the reef sharks in Belize, stingrays in Maldives and sea turtles in Seychelles. Her dream destination is the Galapagos islands and Fiji and is eager to get back to the beautiful clear blue waters of Tahiti.
